Hi,
I have a few of questions I would like answered.
1. What emulators besides gameboy and c64 can you get? I was hoping there is a megadrive/genesis emulator or even a master system one or SNES or NES emulator.

2. I want to convert some of my videos on my computer to 3gp or some format that will play on my 3650. What are the best programs to use to convert these files to 3gp or other standards? How compressed will the file be.

3. I want to be also to play music files. I have downloaded the mp3 player but is there a format on the 3650 that I can play songs that wont take up as much as an mp3.

Thanks

1.) The only emulators available for 3650 are C64, Game Boy/Game Boy Color and Spectrum. There's talks of a NES emulator coming soon, although anything else is really out of the question.
6600 has a MAME emulator available.

2.)To convert to .3gp:

Use PVAuthor or Nokia Multimedia Converter (available from forum.nokia.com).

To convert to .rm, use

Helix Producer.

Although Helix has better quality, the files cannot be played full screen, as .3gp can.

It really depends on the settings you use to determine the file size. I converted a 2 hour movie to .3gp format without changing any settings, and it was 60mb in size.

3.) You can use .wav files. Take any song you want on your computer and open it in a program such as Cool Edit or Sound Forge. Click "edit" and then "convert sample type" and change the settings to 16,000Hz, 8-bit, mono. Then click "save as", select "ACM wavform" ast the type of file and clcik option. Select "GSM 6.10". Save the file and use it on your phone.
You can also use Pc Suite. Just send the file to your phone and it will automatically be converted.

.wav files can be used as ringtones and if you use a program called "multimedia Player" you can have playlists, although you cannot save them.
