6600 help.....deleting a install file from inbox

Hi guys
I installed a photo app, and the install file that sits in my inbox will not delete..??
i have fexplore but cant find my inbox with it..

Install SeleQ go to C or E (depend of is messages on phone mem or mmc)find option type file name nad click ok, than go to path......

when i try to delete this file from the inbow it says (general allrteady in use )

well, exit messages, den go in messages and delete again.

to do it the file explorer way, go to c: or e: /system/mail/(1st folder), den look for it, its in 1 of the 16 folders labelled 0-9, a-f.

Otherwise, you have to re-start the phone, and do as tzeonn said...

i do not think SelQ works .... i have been having problems with the series60 apps working with the new series70

try this... turn off your fone. press and hold the pencil button and then turn the fone on. do not release the pencil button until the sim lock code panel appears (if you have it enabled) or until the desktop/wallpaper appears. go to messages and try deleting the message.

SelQ v1.65 DOES WORK ...

but FIRST must edit PROPERTIES of the file and remove turn OFF ALL ATTRRIBUTES .. then it WILL delete .....

i haf tis prob, when i send movies to my fone, after viewing it, i want to move it, and it says general in use. i exit messages, and go back in and move or delete it.

im using 3650, v 3.13.

Newer run files from inbox, after downloading first find it with seleQ and copy to e:\other\ for example & then run it

happened to me also but I managed to erase the file via Epocware filemanager on the PC....look for the installer file in the folders and delete it. After deleting it on the PC filemanger you still have to manually delete the inbox message on the phone itself. I did not have to format the phone. HTH

my phone is a 6600 btw
