i hope im posting this in the right place and am truly sorry if im not.
can i connect opera on my 3650 via bluetooth to my laptop broadband connection?
i have heard this is possible and would love to find out as it would prove rather handy as my girlfreind is never of the laptop and it would mean i can check email and browse at broadband speed from another room with my 3650.
i am most grateful for any help that is given.
thanx in advance

This would be great. I read somewhere that it could be done, but cant find where i read it! If this were the case, does anyone know if it is possible to access files on the PC from the phone? That way you could download mp3s in another room, etc. Any ideas?

i find its faster to just place the mmc in a 6-n-1 reader on the putr ..
and copy the mp3's to a folder on the mmc .. then place mmc back into the phone ...
faster ...i think ..

Yes its possible to use the Broadband internet from the Laptop to browse on the phone using Bluetooth. If you want the settings I can tell you. I think it only works with Doris Browser because for it to work with Opera you need to have more Ram memory unless you are using improved phones with more ram memory like Nokia 6600 and Nokia N-GAGE.

Try this site
http://www.opera.com/support/tutorials/s60/ (Opera Tutorial)
There is a good tutorial there that shows how to do this. Also try the knowledge base there, just search for 'Bluetooth' and it will return much more useful information. Hope this helps! I am still waiting for my N-Gage so I cannot try this yet.

Here are the settings everyone. If you also have a problem setting up PC Suite I can give you a guide.
On your phone Go to Settings - Connection - Access Points. Create new access point
Connection Name - Bluetooth DSL (Anything really)
Data Bearer - GPRS (Even if you don't have access to it)
Access Point Name - (Important must be the name of your PC shared via BT !!! Check Bluetooth - Paired Devices to be sure)
User name - None
Prompt password - No
Password - Leave as is
Authentication - Secure
Gateway IP address - 0.0.0.0
Now go to settings - connection - GPRS
GPRS connection - when needed
Access Point - (Same as access point name of computer on BT connection <check paired devices> )
Now start PC Suite. Open Mrouter make sure your com port is ticked for serial port.
Start your BT software and set up a connection as normal for serial port. PC Suite should show that phone is online and connected.
If all is ok, you can now start Doris or Opra and surf the net via BT using your computer internet connection.
