dead 6510?? Please HELP!!

Right here goes...

My batt was getting low... and the phone turned itself off. Now it will not charge or turn on.

Im thinking that maybe the charger socket on the phone is broken? but i have never had this problem before. The charger its self is fine.

Please can someone help?? ever heard of this before?? any way i can test? I have M-bus for it but thats all.

Its never been flashed/modded etc.

Have you got (or can you get hold of) a T6 torx screw driver and a multimeter or voltmeter of some kind?

If you can open up the phone and remove the PCB plug the charger into the socket and measure the voltage across the two pins coming out of the black charger socket if the voltage is the same as what is rated on the charger then the charger and block are both fine!
Clean the contacts (gold strips) which the charger pins touch and try the charger in the phone.

The next thing would be to try the same battery in a different phone or the other way round (someone elses battery in your phone)
This will tell you weather the battery is knackerd!
