i'm doing this to a friend
i know nothing about siemens so tell me every thing in details what exactly do i need to do the job

Just need a standard siemens cable and all siemens software if you PM me i'll send you it m8!!

Have you got all siemens by griffin?
If so simply connect phone to pc open software
go to configaration and select "new phones(x5x)" + comport setup to "RTS"
then return to main page.
select unlocking next select direct unlock no map saved.
now select use original imei after this you will need to power on handset.
you will see a sequence off bootstraps then it should say "OK"

Where can i get the siemens data cable?
I got one now, and it's not working. When I power on the phone, the software just shows " phone is not powered on"
