Sorry if this is a stupid question , but please help.

I own a N7650 and a Palm m505. I'm wondering what format (extension) my images are so that I can setup my Palm to receive via IR. I just need the extension of the images. Extensions of other file formats would alos be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Your images are in .jpg format.
Animations are in .gif format.
Video files are in either .rm or .3gp format (depending on how you download or convert them.)
Music is in .mp3 or .wav format.

Thanks dude! Real help

But it's weird. I configured my m505 to receive jpg, bmp and gif, but when I sent pictures VIA IR from my N7650 to my Palm m505, it wouldn't receive them. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Umm dude, sometimes i have problems in sending stuff via infrared to a Ipaq or a friends pocket pc, i mean i can't send anything, maybe the infrared isn't compatible..

guess u hit the nail dude, mayb it juz aint compatible?

juz like symbian fones can onli send pics to each other, not to series 40 and other brands...

There is no error...it jus doesn't detect anything. It doesn't even know an IR-file is coming...I'm starting to think it ain't compatible

i've got almot the opposite problem...my pocket pc recevies anything via infrared,but there's no way to send things(to my pc,3650...)
any idea?

geez... wat model pda u using? wats the error tt comes out when u try sending to pc?

it says something like"not done"(i have the italian version...so not anything is easy to translate).


by the way,i did an experiment,and it's only my cosins sucker pc that couldn't receive,and my phone.strange thing,if i use the phone like a modem they see each other!
