i have a 8210 v5.25 i backed the flash up and edited it but when i tried to flash the phone for the first time it erases the flash (im using rolis v4.79) during flashing it say flashing error: 91 00 FF expected but FF FF FF received and say the loader cannot erase the whole flash. The phone does not turn on or anything. Any ideas?

Try (if you can) get someone elses battrey or charge up your own!
Having a low battery often causes all sorts of errors to be displayed!

or

When the flasher prog asks you to turn on your phone plug in the charger as the phone will then use the power from the charger which is much safer to flash with!

I have the same problem, and the way I worked around it is I used Rolis DCT3 Flasher Ver 5.14 to flash the 8210 and it worked!

I don't know why, I'm still looking for the answer to that one...

xmas cheers ;)

Phone power??
You mean the battery right?
Thats what the phone uses!

Have you tried plugging in the charger when it tells you to turn on the phone?
Always works with me and I've been flashing with a cheap flasher for over a year!

The best one to use is 4.78 beta 6!
Most stable and fast too!

Try setting Rolis 5.14 in the setup for LPT to 1...

Hope this might fix it...
