tzeonn gave me a tutorial on how to search for programs on Mirc using the #mediaplace, but i cant get it to work!
I can search for a file, but dont know what to do after you get the private message up (i think the next stage is to get the list of files)

ok, heres the deal

type @find is to find sth, which im sure u noe alreadi

type @(nick of server), u get his files list, den juz copy the file u wan in the list, from ! onwards, to b4 the file size.

example:

@kev_kev (name of server being kev_kev, so u get all the files he has in a list)

!xxx.xxx.rm 10mb

copy tt file onwards from !, to .rm, leave the size behind, paste in main to get it. u haf to wait sometimes, if mani ppl are getting files from tt particular server.

wow what a guy you saved me again lol
after about an hour that was what i was doing, but a lot of the time when i typed the user name to get the file list nothing happened, this was what was confusing me tbh
it worked with one, but no others. when i type in a @find whatever statement, are the windows that pop up servers?

when u type @find a file, onli ppl wif tt file will msg u. or sth close to tt file.

when they msg u wif the file u want, type !(their name) (file name). tt shld do it.

personally, i recommend getting some good server's lists, so u can get some files u alwaz wanted, but nv remember. juz type @(name of server) in main window to get tt server's list.
