Because of Orange GID 1 Autolock feature, type in code number 2, too.

@gsm community, does this mean that multi-lock code +7 would fail? Due to symbian?

@dan_tv, what was the result?

Thanks.

@crashynot - do you know this or are you just guessing from gsmcommunity's post?

I know that Orange always place the GID1 lock. I also know that if you attempt to use +7 multi-lock on a symbian phone when there is only 1 lock in place it results in an error. However, I had thought that using the +7 multilock worked on symbina phones if there was more than one lock in place (as with Orange UK).

@gsm, can you shed any light on this, any help would be much appreciated.

that could be in the following case, that lock 2 is not closed, but still in auto mode. that meanns, that if a orange simcard with gid1 field enabled is inserted that causes the close of the lock - in that case you will need code 2

have used 3 different orange sims in it 2 pay as you go and 1 contract and can still use a virgin (t-mobile) sim in it, it was bought on contract(upgrade).
