I just bought the data cable to connect from my pc to my nokia 3310 mobile. This cable has an end to connect to a com port of the pc and the other end of the cable it has a square device smaller than a matchbox ,which on the upper part facing you it has 4 pins coming out and an arrow indicating in the direction of where the cable is entering with the words NKI 3310.On the rear of this device there is a small switch with the letters F and M on each side. Can someone explain how are these used and what are they for? How to connect it to the mobile?
Thanks

lol.

Remove the battery from the phone. You'll see a little hole, where the 4 pins on the cable is supposed to be connected.

under the 4 pins on the cable, it is two plastic pins sticking out. That is where you are supposed to put the battery.

Then put the battery, with the cable in the phone.

The connetor should be placed under the battery, so the battery sticks a little up.
