View Full Version : PLZ help me unlocking NOKIA 3650

use this phone in USA. Service from T-Mobile.
Since, I am going to India during Christmas I would like to use it there with companies over there. (roaming charges of Tmobile are very high).
Do I need to unlock my phone in order to use it in India? (I know it works as India uses 900 Mhz frequency bandwidth).
If yes,
IMEI: 351102/50/294361/5
MODEL: NOKIA 3650
SERVICE PROVIDER: T-MOBILE USA

One more question: Would I be able to use it after coming back from India? (with the same service provider e.g. T Mobile USA)? or would I need to unlock the phone again in order to use it in USA?

Since, I am a complete novice about this unlocking thing I apologize if any of my questions seem ridiculous to you all.

Thank you very much.......I really appreciate your help.....it did work .......It said "phone restrictions off" I presume its unlocked now.......I was quite nervous about it.

answer to this other question is it will work on any network now, the sim in india and the sim from t-mobile will both work..the only thing it may ask for is the security code (which is 12345 by default normally unless you changed it ) or a 4 digit code for the sim card that should be supplied to you with the sim card when you first got/get it...
