Hmm.
Can you possibly tell me the difference then?
I figured that all new phones (i.e. nokia series 40 software and above?) would be DCT4...It was released only a few months ago.
Thank you,
Jens Andersen

I make the code

#pw+393436720106334+7#

if you get can't undo then you have used up the 5 tries and will need to unlock with a serial fbus/mbus data cable (not usb) and bwinlock software...

as I said many times before, orange uk uses gid 1 autolock (Lock2) - so code 1 is not enough!!!!

code 7 or code 5 or code 1 + 2

if never an orange sim was inserted in the phone, lock2 remains open and with code 1 you can use every sim - but if you insert an orange sim after that, lock2 will be closed

As the original poster of this topic your discussion makes me wonder.
After initial charging and all that an orange sim was inserted and the phone was turned on and tested etc.
After that I posted here and received the working code on second attempt (code 1). (At least..it said restriction off, and I tested with a different sim from a different country/company. Worked perfectly). So if what you say is indeed always true, what does this mean? That the phone is still locked in some ways, not visible unless specific cases? Or is it fully unlocked?
Excuse my questions as I'm a complete newbie in phone unlocking.
Thanks,
Jens Andersen

If get the "Restiction Off" message, your phone is unlocked for SMS (Text) and voice on any carrier, but you would have to update the WAP settings for data, should you use that feature on another carrier.
