Rayman3 on 6600 - How to make it playable..

In order to get "Rayman3" to play proper on Nokia 6600 and Simens SX1, WE need something that makes 'CROUCH + WALK FORWARD' possible at the same time, this is not possible with the built in joysticks, only one at a time - as they are 4way sticks and not the 8way that is on the n-gage, we need this because many places requieres you to crouch under objects in Rayman3. Now, is there anyway that a app can be developed that adds another button to the game that is not being used, say button 8 to crouch and then we can use the joystick to walk forward at the same time, some kind of emulation maybe, shouldnt be to hard for a developer maybe??

BLZPDA please include this in your release off Rayman3, as the game is unplayable without it.

Haven't been able to get THPS to work on my 6600, but why i play tomb raider i have no problems at all with the 5 way C Stick, so i doubt it would be any problem with THPS.

And anyway i never liked Rayman's games.
Just play SONIC if you want a good platformgame

I have a save Game after the level 2 (the crouching level)
I don't know about the other levels though..
you can try and overwrite your existing save game found on
C:\System\Apps\Rayman
then start the game..

dont know if it will help much..
but atleast for the moment!
(or atleast till another crouch+walk stuff comes on a level!)

Thanks a lot for your try to help us 6600 users! I spended about 2 hours yesterday untill I found someone that actually would send me a savestate after the crouch object on the first level.... sadly I realized that the whole game is built up with objects that you need to crouch under in order to advance levels, so using a diffrent savestate sadly doesnt help much other then that you can explore a new level. Lets hope that BLZ have seen this thread and maybe put some work into it if it is possible....

I'm curious how you got the game working on the 6600. Me and some others cant get the game working... I pasted the directorys to my mmc but nothing happens, same problem with floboarding (the game from nokiagame)..

Could you help me??

hm, why go through so much hassle to play games on 6600? Since the game is designed for the N-Gage, there sure will be flaws playing on other phones. Like in this case, directional problems :rolleyes:

whoa, for young users? u ever used a ngage? bet u haven, coz wat ever u tink of it, is based on wat u seen and how the fone looks.

My friends cousin has one and i played on it, i must admit N-Gage plays better, but the fact that there is no camera , no Themes,huge size and it makes you look like an anus when u call is enough to don't buy it.

I mean when im at a construction site and i take out an N-Gage they probebly start laughing but when i took out my 6600 they all started drooling...

Another example: What would a normal 20 year old girl/guy buy? And N-Gage or an 6600?

my Rayman3 works like a charm on my 6600 nothing to configure or change just install and works just straight off....but i can never get tomb raider to work
