I've just put my virgin sim in the phone and it has logged on to the T-Mobile network. I tried putting an aussie sim in the other day and it wouldn't recognise the sim, so the code may have worked. I'll check this a little later, but thanx v much for your help anyway! Cheers, :smile:

yes its unlocked as virgin use the t-mobile network, it could be that the aussie sim card network does not have any partners in the uk so would not register.

o2 uk doesn't lock contract phones!
