i killed my nokia 3510i please help ?

Hello guys, i really need help.
Today i tried to upload a midi file at my 3510i with oxygen phone manager 2.1.5, when i clicked on to Write All Data to phone phone turned off, now when i try to turn it on, just the light turns on (and nothing else shows up on the screen) and after one or 2 secs phone become turned off, i tried a couple of times but always the same ?

I was running WinXP SP1, and using data cable on com port 1..

i think that there is no warranty for that i've done...
Please help if there is any way i can fix my phone ?

As you didnt reflash your entire phone, and you just uploaded a midi file your phone should still be under warrenty..

Be sure to email the people from oxygen about this, maybe youll get a refund for your software and for the damage they caused...

I have the same problem here with my 3510i... Exactly the same, I tried to write data using OPM 2.1.5, the cracked version :rolleyes:, and my phone went blank.
I also figured it couldn't have affected my flash, because I have a F-Bus cable. Has anyone an idea to solve this problem???

The same thing happened to my 6310i with OPM II after a write all (USB cable).
Screen pulses faintly when attempt to turn on. Battery indicator appears clearly when charger plugged in.

Anyone know how to reset / reboot without turning on?

The same happened to me using Bluetooth.
I don't know how this is possible. I was using Oxygen Phone Manager 2.2 build 2 (cracked one) and as soon as I issued "Write all" my 6310i went dead. Now, when I press power, the screen light-flashes very very very dim (4 times) and then powers off. Charge indication however works.

Heard that same thing also occurs via InfraRed.

How can this be ? Is it possible to kill main program using BT and IR ?

you can try and flash ur phone to repair it or send it away for repair thats all i can help u all with

Today the same has happened to my. I think it´s a problem with the cracked version. In fact, in their ebay store they talk about this matter:

"And please beware of cracks - we have numerous reports that some of these "cracked" versions reset people's phones."

Well, I know I´´ m guilty of using a crack, but there are softer ways to combat it rather than destroying my phone.

Anyway, I´ve send the phone (7250) to the service and in 15-20 days (ouch) it´ll be back.

Now I´ learnt that:

- Better not to use crack in those kind of programs (in others no problem :D), so I think I´ll buy a license of oxygen (I think the app is worth the bucks / euros).
- I have to learn how to flash, because the garanty expires next month.

Anyone had the same problem and solved it by himself?
