The reason for the min 15 post"s is becuase many people only join to get free
unlock codes! and they charge other people for them! if you have 15 post"s it
means that you have tryed to help other people, or you could have got your 15 post"s asking for free unlock codes :( anyway you are the mod you say what is what i will give the unlock codes!

I understand his point, but I am here just to help my father unblock his phone and to learn how to do things with mine. I'm not selling things, I just wanna help my father and learn. If I need 15 posts deserve an unlock code although I dont have an international credit cart and live in a country where a cable costs 1/3 of the minimum salary, its ok, but I ask you to think about my specific situation and many others with similar difficulties to get an unlock code. Besides, no Nokia Support in my city has the 3310 cable, so I just cant go there and simply ask them for unlock.

mr pig could you generate an unlock code for a 3210 locked to orange uk. i know some orange uk nokias have gid1 and gid2 locked, but i have an dct4 7650 which i was able to unlock with a v1 code using dct4 unlock software. the imei no is 448896/88/464449/4 and orange uk is
23433. its worth a try, probably end up buying a cable though.

Members who have been here a long time, are done first.
People who are new or who have few posts, do last, if they are even done at all.

The only other thing I can think of to keep the forum tidy, is to delete requests and the responses, once they have been answered.

The IMEI codes mean that a request and answer can be of no use to anyone else. So once it's been posted and answered, wait a day or so, and then delete it?

I have seen many posts on the forum where people have requested unlock codes and they have been given. But the posts are still there.

It is unfortunate that we end up squabbling over what is a great service.
Phones should not be locked at all in my opinion.
Someone with the capability, please look into developing a calculator for DCT3. Cos we don't see many asking for DCT4 codes anymore as the calculator is out there.
And I think the moderator has a point, perhaps allow 1 code per person, and require the person to be on the forum for a minimum of say 1 month, then we might not get rubbish posts and yet have people who are really in need of help for a code asking for them. (Like me :) )
Don't think that people who are into it for financial or commercial reasons can wait a month or let their customers wait for a month before getting a code.
