Okay, here's the problem...

I bought a data cable for my 3510i and when I try to connect it, the software (mobimb, oxygen and logomanager) doesn't detect it...

Does my phone have to be unlocked in order to use the data cable? When I connect the data cable and turn on the phone I can access the menus and stuff, but the message (Insert SIM card) is shown on the screen...
The phone is locked to my network operator in Croatia (VIPNet)

Need help! Thx!

Your phone will work with a data cable weather its locked or not. This could be a fault with your data cable or with your PC's configuration. I do not have a datacable myself, planning to buy one once i get the money, but if you can wait till then then maybe ill have it figured out or maybe someone else can help you..

By the way as its a Nokia DCT4 phone, why not just get the software to unlock it anyway? Allot of free software exists for it...

ok some tips to read for you.

Do not use oxygen as that can scr*w up your phone.

Anyway try going to your Control Panel/system/device manager and open up your ports,on com 1 goto properties/resources and use change setting to change it to irq 7.
Restart and see if your cable works then.

Thats what i had to do to get mine working.
Hopes this helps you:-)
