8390 browser unlock

I got a rogers branded 8390 for my sister, it was successfully unlocked, but the WAP browser is still locked to rogers. Will I be able to unlock the WAP browser by just taking in my phone to fido and flashing it there? I heard it works, but havent tried it, any suggestions? thanks.

ok, i heard stories that flashing a phone that is from one provider specific firmware to that of another providers specific firmware, will unlock the browser settings, im going to give it a try tonite, and see if it works.
I bought the phone through Rogers, but i do not have an account on them I did not set it up, and they do not support unlocking of handsets, as well as fido does not support it either.

Any info if the settings from Nokia worked ?? I am waiting on a 8390 and will use an unlock code, however; if the browser is locked, then can I still use GPRS ??
