I bought a Nokia 3410 in England about a month ago, because my phone was stolen and I needed one very quickly.
I bought a locked Pay-as-you-go phone for the O2 network in England. The man in the shop told me that I could use a contract SIM card provided it was on the O2 network.
I said "What about O2 in another country?" and he insisted it would be okay.
Of course, when I got home the sim was locked to O2-UK and I could not use it.
So I have come to this forum to learn more about my phone, and how best to unlock it so I can use it.
So far, it looks like a great forum, with friendly people. I think I can learn a lot here.
