N6600 Questions

Okay ladies and gents, who of you have problems? No not the mental type. Here are a few rants for the day...

1st issue I have noticed with my now 1 month old 6600 is that certain times when I turn on the phone the intro music gets cut off, i noticed this was discussed in other forums but i haven't heard any solution on how to sort this out or why it is happening.... and yes i have the most up to date firm ware ;)

2nd issue I have noticed is that certain times my newly born baby (N6600) tends to freeze when pressing the menu. In order to unfreeze it I have to click again the menu button and after that it works fine. Whether or not my phone is being temperamental with me (in which case I now know the sex of my phone) or I have some sort of problem loading some sort of program (yes it is loaded to the max and I need to get a new mmc, I am simply waiting for father Christmas). Any one have any ideas??

3rd issue I have, is the TRY & BUY, some wonderful programs in there and I do not have any key gen for any of them, somebody want to help me out and reply with a lycos group that has this info I am drooling over.

IF you can believe it, even I am an idiot sometimes. Regardless, I would not be willingly insult myself if it could not help someone else..

During the night, i woke up and switched my saved SMS from phone to MMC, as everything is copied I didn't realize what I had done as I had forgot I had did it. Then using FExplorer deleted the emails without thinking off my memory card, as i thougt everything was on my phone memory; consequently, I then repeated the mistake during a night out at the pub and forgot I had done. I have now found my original message safe and sound in my phone memory... As there all stupin anyhow, i deleted them.. Thanks for your time..

So just remember where your dumping your SMS - and oh yeah, drinking may inhibit your thinking.


I have had my first real problem with my N6600 today, Yesterday I created 2 new folders under "my folders" and archived some SMS there, today i checked them and.... they were gone! You can imagine that i was a bit pissed off. Has anybody else had this type of problems??? There is no way that i woke up in the middle of the night and decided to delete folders for no apperent reason.

On the other hand, and people, I would really hate to resort to smilies - I have not found anything on a key gen for the N6600 Try & buy folder.
