Help with 7250i

i have recentely been given a nokia 7250i and when i put a sim card in and enter the sim pin it says" Phone restricted " and i can press undo and it says to enter restriction code. can some1 tell me what to enter.
i want to use a T-Mobile Uk sim.
p.s. i dont know the original sim what was in it.

Your 7250i is "locked" which means it can only be used with it's original SIM card. You need to unlock the phone before you can use it.

But to do so you can either

unlock via data cable and software (got to buy a cable)
unlock via code (free, but need to know what network it's locked to)

Try to find out what SIM was originally in that phone. Ask the previous owner, or check the package if there is a sticker on it.

Then, go to the "DCT-4 unlock code request" section of the forum here, and make a post. Give your

-phone type (7250i)
-IMEI number (on a sticker in the back of the phone, under the battery)
-codes of the network it is locked to, alternatively network name AND country (such as "T-Mobile UK" or "AIS Thailand" or "E-Plus Germany").

Make sure that you got all those details absolutely correct! You will receive a reply with someone giving you the unlock code and an instruction how to nter it. Do not try with random-codes, because you got only five tries and each phone has a specific code, based on the IMEI and the network.

The second choice is you unlock via a data cable, here you obviously need such a cable first, and some software such as BWinLock or similar. Search the forums (DCT-4 software) for further information.
