Does anyone have a program capable of editing tones sucessfully in the nk 7110??

I am having problems getting the flash to work without hanging!
I am using PPM manager to import / export tones,
also does anyone know the offset for the menu code in g3n0lite?

Hi!
Use the Prog MelodyToFirmware by Zdenek Jindra, that is attached here.
Itīs much more stable than PPMEdit and works 100% with the 7110, I tried it myself and itīs absolutely cool.
You can even import ASCII or Unicode ringtones and it ALWAYS works.
P.S. donīt try to add more than the 35 ringtones that are originally included
in the FW. And to fix hangs, use the latest 5.01 s/w.
And i added some of my favorite tones.

Additionally, i gotta say that you cannot edit the menu tree in s/w of 6210 or 7110 with g3n0lite as parts of those flashes are encrypted (like bmps, Language packs etc) and/or the menu stuff of those mobiles is too different from the "mainstream" nokias like 3210, 3310, 5110 etc.

But 7110 rockz, and I hope with the new tones it rockz even more.

You can also use Mr. AL's(the author or NFader) PPMMaker, it has the ability of changing/editing/adding tones on chunk....powerful also on TEXT chunks!
