I just bought a Nokia 8270 yesterday for $10. The person got a new phone, and sold me this one. I think it still has service, but im not too sure. Are there SIM cards on these phones? I looked, but couldnt find anything. When I turn it on, it has the cricKet symbol, then goes to the screen and says
Cricket
Silent
And the date
The signal thing is at full strength. So does this mean it still has their service? Im not going to mess with them or anything. I was wanting to get the SPC, but if I try 333333 in the employee code for the alpha thing it says "Excess SPC Failure" I dont want to use cricket service when i do get cricket, so I was thinking of maybe flashing it to a normal 8270.

I cannot find anything that works on this phone to get the IMEI. Maybe i could call up cricket service and SE the spc, but do I need an account for that?
