Splinter Cell is meant for 4096 color N-gage, by playing the game in 6600 which is 65k color, the color look distorted. It happen only for splinter cell, the rest wok fine.

i noticed that when you died in splinter cell on the 6600, the colors got fixed for a second, then go back to the weird way.

strange, eh?

relax leespud, let them 6600 users figure it out themselves, or perhaps wait till blz releases the blz version.

all i know is that when you go to the "Mission Failed" thing, the colors become normal.

the game is using a different way of accessing the screen (or actually a different screen mode).

it *could be* possible to alter this but i dont know if it will work or fuck anything else up, nor do i have a 6600 to try things on.. i've had a look at the mode it sets but I haven't worked out what the mode is (in the symbian api they are all called names like EColor4k and EColor65k etc and i only have a byte value ;))

at the end of the day, even if you could see it - would it play the same on as on an n-gage? probably not.
