REAL ONE Player and PV PLAYER

Does anybody have a problem with the Real One Player after installing the pvPlayer? It seems that when i install the PV player, my Real One player will no longer play files. And PVPlayer will not play .ram files.

Anyone?

not sure bout the real player prob, but pvplayer wun play .ram files in the 1st place, wat fone are u using? my real one plays .ram files, while my pvplayer plays .3gp and .mp4 onli.

I have the Nokia 6600.
Before i install the PV Player my Real One Player works, everything is fine. But then after the installation of PV Player, the Real One Player will open, but will not play the actualy file.

I get a msg saying "Unable to play media clip".... i'm not sure what the problem is, i think it's because PV Player is conflicting with the Real One Player. I dont want to get rid of my PV Player because it's a good player (plus, it has full screen view :o)...

Any suggestions??

well, if i play .3gp or mp4 files, it uses the pvplayer to play. if i play rm files, it uses the real player to play it. both work fine in my ngage and 3650. did u try viewing a .3gp in real player? strange prob u haf, i dun haf tis prob at all.

I just tried playing the .3gp file in Real Player... and it gives me an error msg, but then it does play the clip. But it still does not seem to open the .ram file.

oh, u using a 6600.... u cant play the .ram file, u haf to convert it. the real palyer on 6600 can onli play .rm files.

on this site terracro.com you can get something called real one advanced s60 player, but the install file is 1 mb so how much is improved in the advanced version and is it really worth 1 mb of space on my phone

well, heard it can play mp3, and is better in terms of quality. i haven tried it thou.

in the file u got, is there a .app file wif the pvplayer.sis? the .app file is the crack.

I did the download but it's for the nokia 7650, and it doesn't work for my 6600. :sad: Where can I download the trial for the 3650? ( I think that must run)

the same thing happened in my phone. real player used to play .3gp and .rm. now when i open a .3gp file, pv player opens it. i think pv player purposely overrides the .3gp functionality of real player.

after u install the pvplayer.sis.... replace the pvplayer.app in the folder with the one u have...

u need a file explorer, send .app to fone after installing the sis, den go to system/mail/(1st folder), find the .app files ( in one of the 16 folders, if its in the inbox), den cut, paste it into system/app/pvplayer, it will overwrite a file.

ok, get fexplorer installed, use it to move, read previous post too.

i had this problem

when u install pvplayer its overides the realone player commands to play 3gp

if u uninstall pvplayer it leaves some fiels in the e:/system/libs folder

so for a step by step.

if u want to get rid of pvplayer and still want realone to play 3gp

got to that file on ure mmc

delete anything that has 'pv' at the start

restart fone

(could make back up of files just in case - i did this on my n gage and it works fine)
