Hello all, this is my first post, hope someone can help!
I've just got my new 6600, as an upgrade from the 7650. I have transferred all the contact details no prob to the new phone, however I've got 100+ of sms i want to tranfer to the new phone, I still cannot find a way to do it...
Please tell me any software that can do this, any help would be greatly appreciated!

OK, lol, i see that you are all newbies around here.
K here's a solution that you can try and it might work with regard to backing up your messages or it's a "smart" way of transfering your messages between various Nokia Symbian devices.
First back up your older device (which contains the SMS' you wish to transfer). Back it up using PC Suite.
Then Back up your second Nokia phone (the new one), with it's version of PC Suite, so you should have backup's of both phones on your hard drive by now. Now all you gotta do is try copying the system/mail folder (in your backup) on your older phone to the backup folder of your new device.
Now do a restore on your new phone. It's just an idea, i haven't tested it, but please let me know if it works.
Cheers

Thanks for the solution bro, but nokia made a few changes to their pc suites lately and during backup the filenames are changes into 1.dat, 2.dat.etc. Their filename and location stored on phone are made referenced by two files (can't remember their exact names since I don't have access to my pc at the mom), one is a readable format and the other not. With over 150 sms its going to take a long to to do this manually and I have a suspicion that there's some sort of index file on the phone as well which makes this solution unfeasible.
