Motorola TestCard

I read on id2.cz how to make Motorola Test Card.
SimEmu 6.01 EEPROM address 04B5H must be changed to 0081H.
But i dont know which sw to use for this.With ICProg and Hexeditor i cant do it.
Which numerical system uses ´h´?
Can anybody help me how to change that address?

Hi,

You can use the XSim 0.04, have a option to program the Eprom (SIMEMU protocol) and have a editor to change before this address.

You can download the XSim form : http:\\www.endorasoft.es

(Sorry but, for the moment, this software only is avaible in spanish).

the editor in Xsim is = the editor in ICProg,or twoprog,...
and there isnt any ´h´ (hexadecimal ends with F)

My name is Hans I AM NEW and I can help.

First get you the goode programme XSIM 0.04
Now. read your GSM carte using the commando "EStandard" please
looke to your left....See all the Element Files ??? OK.....NOW gow down to the directoroio named 7F20.
Find It ? now you will see a sub directorio called 6FAD
clicke on this and you see the bytes 00 FF FF ?????
NOWE WE MUST CHANGE THE 00 FF FF to 81 FF FF and thats IT!
this is right...only change the firste byte from 00 to 81 and then you have a Motorola Teste Carte.

OH ..the "h" you been speaking aboute is HEX YES..."h" means HEX....

Im new here but IM NOT A *****...I read all time to find this informations.
Cane someone hear verifyie that this is correcte ?? YES !

But why to read card?why not load EEPROM file,modify it and then program the card with it??

Xsim 0.04 is confused with my BlackCard.Its in spanish but i think it indicates that my card is not GSM card.And always appears that blue window:error at address ...


Will be good if i do it like on the pictures in the attachment?

Im using Phoenix/Smartmouse reader(home maid but its fully working with other sw)
crystal 3.57MHz and 6MHz

I have Dejans reader too,but didnt test with Xsim yet.

Hi Tracid,

in Theory, With XSim Can make two ways. One use the opcion to save eprom. This option have a editor to change this value.

The other option is to see if this addrees are in a file of the Card. You can edit this file and change this value.

Have you device change the reset level? Is Smartmouse o phoenix? If it is smartmouse you must invert the reset signal. There is a option in the configuration of the program (Phoenix).

When you try and read SIM ...does it informe you of what is youre "ATR" ?
Please list what is your ATR if XSIM can reade it.
