8390 sim card registration failed

I just used the JIC unlocker software with a pure MBUS cable... I ran JIC and the unlocking went ok... The phone was still in test mode so I disconnected the battery and tried to turn it on and I get sim card registration failed

Any help???

where did you buy your handphone? is it a new one or a second hand unit?

its brand new, just bought it, right out of the box

Sim card Registration Failed -- is message when the sim card itself has been de-activated.

Have you tried another sim card??
