I have a water damaged 3350 which I have brought back from the dead by this forums procedure.
my problem now is that the backlights do not work, and also the
ringtones. however the keypad tones work, but are not very loud (even on highest setting)
all other functions are ok, including vibrate.
I am a newbee to phone repair, but would love to hear some advice from you experts.
I have attatched a pic of the board if this helps...

If I understood You, Your phone doesn't work!?!
And it looks wery bad I think.

I recomend You go to te service center.

The phone works, it's just the backlights and speaker.
My problem is that there is no service centre where I live!

hei you can change this part (look picture) for your phone i guaranteed will work
(it was small BGA part and you will
need air heat compressor to replaced)
