View Full Version : need help with 6600 and bluetooth connection

ive jus bought a new nokia 6600 and a "Bluetooth USB Adapter Dongle" and i cannot seem 2 connect it to the pc ive installed everythin etc but it dont seem 2 make a connection can someone please help me im very new to this

it asks me that my comp is trying to make a connection to the fone do i wana accept it and wen i press yes a message pops on da comp sayin it failed

i also cant get it connected onto the nokia pc suite for 6600

please someone can u tell me wat im a doin rong here

Ok mate lets have a look at what your problem is..

Firstly until you get a bluetooth serial port connection going between your phone and your PC you won't get PC Suite to work.
Now make sure that you bluetooth donlge is firmly plugged in, is recieving power etc. Then make sure that you aren't having any driver problems (device manager is a good place to look for that), and now from your nokia 6600, go to the bluetooth menu option and select the option to find a new paired device, and let your phone scan the area for another bluetooth device (i.e. your dongle). Now once it detects your PC, then pair it up and set it as authorised.

It worked perfectly for transfering files etc etc. But when tried through the PC Suite it never took the bluetooth the account. i tried with connection manager, no luck. why is not working for pc suite.

a frend of mine got this prob too, he downloaded mrouter 3 beta, and it worked for him now. do a search for "mrouter" on nokiafree.
