Hello bud doo, I had the same problem at the beginning (when I installed the BT soft) but now it works fine with PC Suite.
What kind of BT adapter do you have ?

I'm using a BELKIN and the installer put on my desktop "Bluetooth Favorites".
When I click on it (the same icon is in the task bar) a folder opens with inside :
-Nokia 6600 Dial-up Networking
and
-Nokia 6600 Bluetooth Serial Port
Is it the same for you ? If yes, right click on "Nokia 6600 Bluetooth Serial Port" and "Connect". It should work.
If no, go to control panel if you have the icon for your dongle to be set up correctly.
3rd solution : right click on tray icon (if you have) and "BT wizard" (or something like that).
4th and the last : right click on tray icon and "Connections..." and "other peripherals" and then you should find your phone listed.
The 1st step is to let recognize your phone by your comp, and then you should have all the options available.
Let me know.

dear meynardo
I try Dial-up Networking on 6600 at it works fine (I sea the status ther is connection)
and try 6600 Bluetooth Serial Port have err msg (the remote device close the connection)
but the problem is in the mRouter (connection) I can't sea any ports (just the infrared) that mean ther is no choice to use ports with the PC Suite
If I can add ports to mRouter window evry thing will go OK
hentero I never install the SDK!!!! I don't need it
***I have N7650 too and try the 7650 PC Suite the same prob. no ports in the mRouter

When I want to connect my phone, I have the same message. But after sevaral trials (2 or 3) it connects finally.
You have the same options as me, so we have to find the correct settings to connect yours.
In mRouter I have the BT choice because I installed the options in BT icon in the Control Panel.
In my case I have 4 possibilities :
-General
-Accessibility
-Detection
-Local Services
In the last one I can see a list box and 2 buttons :
-Properties
-Add serial services <-- with this one you should get your options with the COM Port you want.
Don't know if you have the same choices in your version because mine is french and the software is not the same. But normally you should find those options in your app.
If you're still not able to connect, I'm not strong enough to help you furthermore.

might sound stupid...
I had a few days of my bluetooth playin around!
I could send and recieve files..
I set up a serial port (after much fiddling)
I ticked everything I could on m-router (well nearly.. all bluetooth (like 6 of em)
I then did a quick connect (I have a belkin anf the software that goes with it)
It gave an error.. a few ok/cancel boxes.. the icon bluetooth icon in the system tray went green (That I later learned that i needed to click to get the final 'OK' window) then the m-router icon in system tray says there was a connection... but only for a few seconds!
I learned to either disable my firewall.. or to allow connection with m-router (within my firewall program)
Tried to connect again and it was CONNECTED FIRST TIME.. NO PROBLEMS
