6210: insert sim

i have 6210 with constant "insert sim" problem, any suggestions?

Check the contacts ,if did not work change ccont...

i have the same problem with a 7110. It always says INSERT SIM with a GSM1800 SIM i.e Orange T-Mobile but it is fine with GSM900 O2 etc. Did you resolve the problem?

Go to your service provider and ask them to change your SIM card because i think the problem is in your SIM ,,,

mrhazeem most of us in this forum are well experienced with mobile faults, the first thing anyone would try with this type of fault is changing the sim. :lol:

I tried 2 different T-Mobile sims 1 Orange and 1 BTCellnet (o2). Only the BTCellnet was recognised!!

As i said before if u r sure that the SIM is ok and also the contacts...,then CCONT is the problem or check battery contacts because there is a line between the battrey contact and CCONT,
Or check R160,C160,C161,C161 (u can see them in service manual )
