there are several countries where lock 1 unlocks the phone..Portugal and the Usa....

Most others use code 7...except Vodaphone sweden where you have to enter code 4 then 1....don't ask me the technical side of why...just know it for a fact...
but looking at your thread there are execptions...some of the U.k 7650's unlock on code 1....but most unlock with code 7....


And some of the Ngages come out with 2 instead of one lock and you have to enter two codes ...
