Faceplates for 6600

Hi, i know that there are not any faceplates available yet for the 6600 but does anyone know if it is possible to change them? Cheers.

I have seen pictures of a 2 tone silver version (maybe just a prototype?)

I dont think you can change them as easy as some of the earlier nokias (ie 3310 etc) but maybe more of a 'bring to a shop or experts only jobby! as by the looks of it may need a screwdriver to get a cover off if it is possible at all???

At the mo I think the 6600 looks pretty cool as it is! :-P

First off all we need a TORK screw driver to get the covers off and the other thing is that u lose ur warranty.

This is indeed a 'bring to a shop or experts only jobby! like JUDZ implied but i dun think it's impossible.

Anyway i like my 6600 the way it is.

And for that model that u saw it just might be the mysterious 6600i.... (???)

it does look good but as time pass by, and scratches starts to show, it definetely needs a new cover.

Yes cowboytuna thats the main reason i asked, i'm happy with the way the 6600 looks out of the box but it would be nice to be able to change the facias if you scratch them.

well, im sure u can change the fascias at nokia at a low price if its still under warr.

My mate was in a pc shop the other day and he took out his 6600 to give the bloke his number. The guy asked him if he had changed his face and when my mate said no the guy pulled out his and it was different colours, it was the same phone though.
