Doom on MMC

hellooo people!

i have doom

and i used 2 install it on my old 7650 and play it all the time, and it worked fine. but because of the memory take up it didnt stay on the phone for long.

anyway

now i have just got a 6600, and when i install doom on my 6600 memory card it wont work! it loads the title page, but when i try and start a new game it says somethin bout the program not being there!

how do i get doom to work on my 6600's mem card??

U will need a Special MMC Patch for it, try mIRC or just browse around the groups for a while, u should find it soon enough

I tested out doom on my 6600 and it works fine with the mmc patch (my 3650 never worked with it no matter what i tried). I'm a happy bunny.

ok then, now one more question. ya know u gotta install it in a certain order, like doom.sis then the core files then sounds then levels. well were do i install the patch? after everythin else?

Yeah install the patch after everything else. I didn't bother installing the sound.sis so if it doesn't work that might be your problem.
