How to make graphics to *#0000#

There are many characters you probably won't use.
I did this as some kind of educational experiment or something :)

Tried first with characters C0 C1 C2 (hex), modified with PPMEDIT.
Modified phone info from MCU, it shows eg. V 03.53, 15-04-02, NPM-5.
Changed date to hex string 20 20 C0 C1 C2 20 20 20.
Flashed it to phone.
Found that *#0000# shows different characters, looked for them in PPMEDIT.
They were 016E, 016F, 0170...

So, i started my project over.
Changed font Large/Bold characters 016E-0170 to have one picture.
Then modified MCU to have date as hex string 20 20 C0 C1 C2 20 20 20.
Flashed again, and now it works :)

*#0000# shows me:
V 03.53
-------
/nfree\
\ .org /
------
NPM-5

(well, something like that)

I have attached this font so you can check it.

This kind of modification can be used as instead of operator-logo.
Modify network name to some special characters you don't need.
Then change that characters to have picture.

What do you think?

well.. if change network name to some picture, and then modify that usergroup/whatever stupid sign to smiley and use phonemodel as usergroup and put your phone number in call cost..
eg.

{some nice picture here}
:) 5510
123 4567890

instead of operator logo taking space from 2nd line ( :) 5510 ).

and of course, you can put a logo too..
and when you remove your logo, you still have logo.

but this is just 1337 customizing... if you rea<lly want to show every1 how cool you are...

but for that *#0000# thing, you could make there nice picture if your friend thinks (s)he's a mobile phreak and always checks *#0000# and others.. so it would be big surprise when there is no text, just nice picture...

and that font.. well, i thought original nokia font is too big.
so i "shrunk" them a little bit in vertical, and some characters i had to modify more, i don't like nokia's n, m & r. they suck.

You can open you flashfile in a Hex editor, search for *#0000# and edit the numbers to whatever you want.

at least for the 3410,

I searched for "*#0000" and go it, the end # is not written into the file:

*#0000
2A2330303030

No # on the end

I believe you could just change this to

*#000
2A2330303000

But since I have no cable I can't check
