i'm sure all of us would unanimously agree that MGS games rock! but the problem i have with them is that they get installed on the phone memory(space wasted).. is there a way to copy them to the card memory? can someone be kind enough to post a step by step guide? there was a thread on howardforums on how to do it.. but it was all too confusing!!

well, some games work on mmc, but older games like pool, silver ball wun work, i cant even install to mmc. maybe they run on the older mgs?
i would also like to play them on my mmc! anyone? heard theres a patch or sth, im not so sure.
you can follow this hint
"Ok . .Here is some useful info on installing . . Read only if your MGS is installed on MMC !
If your MGS program file is installed on your phone memory you don't need to read . .Go play the game
If else :
This game was produced at 7650 times so it does NOT have an option to install to the memory card .
And if the game files and MGS engine are in different paths it will cause a crash . .
Hoevever this does not mean that it will not work at all . .
You just need to re-order a few things
It is a litlle bit tricky . ..
Install the game normally and after installation finishes use a file explorer program such as fexplorer to find the directory named " 101 " . . .It will be in your c: drive's root . .
If you have installed your MGS in MMC (otherwise you don't even need to read this) then you will have the same directory in your e: drive's (MMC) root as well
All you have to do is to make sure whatever is in the folder in c:101 should actually be in e:101
That's it . .
eg:
after installation your C: drive will have a folder that has the folloving structure
C:\101
save (dir) - where the save files are -
game (dir) -where the actual game file is -
and you will also realize that the same works for E: drive
so the contents of C:\save and C:\game will be copied to the same folders in the E: drive
Ok I think I've repeated enuff . . heheh . .I don't wanna leave it to chance you see .
This way your manager (installer) will still show the game as installed in the phone memory but the game will play from the memory card just fine . .
Ok . . There is also the un-install issue . . As the nokia program manager thinks that the game is installed in the phone memory when you choose to uninstall it will attempt to remove the files from where it knows to be installed . . And when it can not find the files there it will simply remove the entry from the installer and think that it's uninstalled .. But as your files are still in the game folder you MGS will continue showing you the installed games normally . .
Soooo . . . .
To un-install succesfully There are two options . . Either you put the files back in the directories where they came from and use the nokia program manager to uninstall ( too much unnecessary work for nothing actually ) or you remove the files from the mem card by hand . .and use the nokia manager uninstall to remove the entry . .
Ehh . . You might say too much hassle but then again MGS games are one of the best out there . .So it's your pick
enjoyyyy !
