51xx 2 61xx convertions with key-board change

Hi,
I'm just smoking a cigarette while progging "Project X" and I'm wondering if it's possible to convert a 51xx to 61xx.

A while ago a friend of me had a 61xx with a 51xx key-board, running the 61xx soft. I flashed the 51xx soft to it and it worked.

But it is possible to make this with a 61xx?

Dear enzo i am now try flashed my Nokia 5110 with 6110 flash and my phone is dead:( U are relly succesfull flashed Ur Nokia 5110,how??

From 5110 possible make 6110.This is old method.
Need change flash, eprom! 128K and keyboard.

I flashed a 6130 with the 5130 soft. (Don't know what ROM version)

I don't know if it work reverse.
Did you flash the right ROM version to the phone?

I only can say that my method worked.
I flashed it with Dejan, but I think it should work with Rolis, too.

Only problem was FAID, at that time the FAID calc method was unknown. But now the phone is working great.

dear my friend i have Nokia 5110 v5.30 Rom4, i am try flashed with flash 6110 v5.48 Rom and now have CONTACT SERVICE.I don't know how Ur phone work??Please post for me Ur flash for download and eeprom.But i think eeprom not need write sagal??

This is "upgrade" method only on ROM4 phone working!
u need change MAD2.

i have rom4, and when i try flashing it, i get contact service. do you know how i can get it to work?

If you phone ROM4 ver. then u need follow partials:

1 correct ROM4 flash for 6110!
2 correct eprom!!!!!
3 keyboard etc.

If u not have, then i send you eprom or flash.

i have 6110 5.48 language G. dont know what languages that include though..
I dont have eeprom, if you could be so kind?

Do I really need to change the keyboard, or can i just rearrange the button assignments or so?

Here is send correct 6110 eprom.
U need download u'r language flash for ROM4!
And need change keyboard panel MCU command by reason of.

The phone is not mine. It's from a friend. So I can't send U the Flash file. :(
How can U read/write an EEPROM from the 61xx? I thought it is impossible with the flashercable. Maybe with a prommer or something else. ?

I don't think that U can change the button assignment, only if you can prog in ARM. (Hope I'm right)

For eprom contents change's need pony prog and for pony circuit!
This is method the best for eprom contents change.

Else:

Beetwen ROM3 and ROM4 diferent on MAD2 have.How waht is diferent concret, i dont know.Only i know how have very diferent and for ROM3 ROM3 flash need etc.etc.
