Blue on Blue was not the colour when i joined, it was yellow text on blue background, much better and needs to be that way again, it is very hard to read now.

I can read all the text fine

This text is white

Links are blue but it is a lot brighter than the backgrounds,
Colours are traditional and are staying that way ;)

Danny

PS this has already been discussed

Links are light blue, correct

But after you have clicked on the link, the colour becomes DARK BLUE. How can you read DARK BLUE text on a DARKER BLUE background?

Can we change it so that if the link has been clicked, or not clicked ... it stays the same color ---- LIGHT BLUE

Thanks!

If you highlight the dark blue link it becomes really bright??

So, I see not much point in changing it,
Although I will ask man0n but I'm not making any promises!! ;)

I logged on the the forum on IE 5.0

at first I saw the actual colours of the forum but when I logged in it all went dark

Anyone who is having problems with dark colours on nfree upgrade your browser to IE 6.0 everything will look great then :)

Danny

It looks fine on my browser. I've got nothing to complain about the colour scheme of this forum.

Hi,

I use IE v5.0

I dono if its bad or good, but the colors are typical nFree as I know it last 2,5 years.

Try a CNTR^A press, Ur world can be much brighter then.

Does anyone else find that when you look at edited posts, a lot of them appear to have no text.

If you highlight over it and let go sometimes it comesback to what it should be, othertimes it stays away?

I think that it ONLY happens on posts that have been edited.

Here is a screen dump of the colours I see
I think the forum looks perfect :)
I suggest opening up this bmp and comparing it to what you see

It didnt look very good when I was on an older machine

this had IE 5.0 and an S3 Trio video card
also it had a 486 processor

basically when I was on this older machine the forum was very dark and hard to read

This is different to what I saw :(
Everything was darker on my older PC

try clearing the nokiafree cookies, otherwise I have run out of ideas

When I have been on nokiafree on my dads G3 and his G4 (He likes Mac's ;))it has been exactly the same as on my PC but I will check again since the colour update :)

amen..

i agree with nk_au; the colors in this forum are very poorly thought out..

oh, and the buttons look stupid too, because they were designed for bright backgrounds, so the edges of the gifs (before you get to the transparent pixels area) fase to a light color, hence the impression that they were cut out of a cornflakes packet by a 5 year old using plastic scissors :/

This has been said before but I will repeat it because I guess some of you were not listening or you may have been asleep or something like that :)

The colours of nfree are exactly that, they are the colors of nfree
They are the traditional colours that have been here ever since I have and I like them and so do many others

I will try to do something about the buttons
BTW I cut out the buttons from a special K packet not cornflakes but I did use metal scisors the problem was they were rusted :(

Danny
