I need some files from 6600

I'm trying to enable theme support in the 3650/N-Gage. Right now I need a few files from 6600.

Could someone zip all files from Z:\System\apps and Z:\System\install and mail it or attach it here.

I think I know what do u wanna do, u wanna take these files and put them in the Z drive , right, well u cant, cuz the Z drive is a ROM, read only, so u cant put anything in it.

And if this wasnt what youre tryin to do well good luck and let us know.

I dont think you can activate theme on 3650 because it runs on a symbian os version 6.x.

There are 2 ways to have a theme on your mobile.
1. have symbian os 7.0 with UIQ 2.1 as the p900.
(The UIQ 2.0 in p800 did not support themes.)

2. or Symbian version 7.0s as the nokia 6600.
(The "s" in version 7.0 adds theme support.

This is what I have read so fare.. Hope this helps..

I know very well that Z-drive is read-only. And all about Symbian versions.

By the way, themes are supported in newer UI's, like Series 60 v.2.0 and UIQ v.2.1, Symbian OS version does NOT have anything to do with themes.
SE P900 has UIQ 2.1 and 6600 has S60 2.0.

But I'm just going to make some tests. I already have got some files from 6600 installed in my phone.

All u people wanna make 6600 users down,
NGAGE has the abiltity to play games flawlessly
3650 has the ability to put every single app
and all 6600 users can do is put themes.
and if NGAGE and 3650 users found out a way to use themes then us 6600 users will have nuthin to brag about.

I'm afraid the themes will never work on the other S60s, first of all it's on the Rom and second how on earth can u change the clock and stuff with an app?
Users with a " little more than average" knowledge bout Symbian should understand this... Not that i'm very bright but just think about it, logically...

But i hope im worng for all the poor non 6600 users.

And btw if the Themes DID work on others why didn't nokia released some software for it, like they did with the videorecorder for the 7650...
