How to change logo on NGAGE!!

my logo will not change, i go to seleq and do it, it reboots and still "TMOBILE", damnit!

Also, is there a way to change the # that pops up when i call someone on the ngage? like a name or another #? not through my carrier though, cause they wont do it.

theres a thread bout changing op logos on ngage, tink u can do a search for it...

the#, i guess u talking bout the no. save the no. as ur contacts, when u call, it shld show the person's name instead.

and pin 1, pin 2 are codes u set on ur sim card, lock code is the sec code, default is 12345.

after much trouble with my logo on my n-gage i discovered if you go to www.cdfmobile.com and get a free b$w logo this will work but you want a really kool colour logo dont you??? now go to where the logos are saved, there should be two files the .bmp whihc you have been trying to set and a .mbm whihc is current just change the .bmp to . mbm overwriting the old .mbm restart fone and your new logo should show up!!! hopoe this helps

did u try leespud's method of renaming ur logo in ur fone?

try setting the logo as oplogo 1st, using a file explorer. if it doesnt work, den rename the file to .mbm

i did but, still no luck. guess its something with the way it sends it to the phone.. Although, now when my phone loads up it has no op logo for about 5 secs, then TMOBILE shos up,,... weird huh!

i was having the same problem.

i think the key step is to first send yourself an older B&W operator logo!!! ;)

after doing the above, i am now able to set colored op logos without the need to do any BMP/MBM renaming.

Well i WAS having the same problem. I got my N-Gage on the Orange network for £130. I used OPman and others to change my logo, but no go. I even tried the renaming method and still no go.

I went to this service and found a logo i love with my name (Chris with a skull on either side...pretty cool). Anyway, i gave them my mobile number and sent the authorisation text at 23:07.45. I got the message containing the Op logo at 23:07:49 - hows that for speed!

I opened the text up and saved the logo, restarted the phone and my new logo is there and its staying there. Ive still to change it to a colour one, but its working nonetheless!

did you try setting the B&W logo with SELEQ?
it won't work if you do it that way.

use a site that sends you an operator logo, or PM me with your number and provider code and i'll sms you a logo. ;)

yup, i can do tt wif fexplorer too, but some ngage in other places, cant set logos using any proggy they haf. dunno y.

As i said, i was having the same problem and got a logo from that site sent to me. In the message my phone automatically recognises it as an op logo, so i used the left soft key and saved the op logo, restarted and there it was.

I used seleq and opman to set a colour one, but it didnt work...i really dunno why. The logos from that site are good and all, but theres no colour and they look poor in quality when on the phone.

Good luck to you all who r still having problems...try and use that site again, just to make sure!
