HELP! file on 6600 wont let me delete it!

hi,

i have a file, pacman.zip on my MMC that i put in my phone and i can not delete it from my phone as it says it is in use (???...its not), i also try to delete with a file manager and it says it cant delete it either. it says it is a read only file.

anyone know whats going on???

how do i delete this?

it seems to stop me being able to play emame games. it says APP. CLOSED every time i try and get an emame game to play....

not sure it works, try pairing the fone wif pc suite and delete from the pc suite.

if i have to format my MMC, if i save the ngage games i have on my MMC to my hard drive on PC, can i just put them back on the MMC? will this work?

will i then need to delete any files in phone memory to get the games to work again?

its just that i deleted a game a while back on my MMC, then i downloaded the game again from the internet, put it on the MMC and now it doesnt open. i am wondering if some how the game it still in the phone memory...

well, the files in c: are the saved files i tink.

y dun u try, deleting a game, den installing it again, play it, see if the high scores, etc are the same?

you can reset your phone if you cant fix it... just type *#7370# then ur phone will rest and it myt get deleted.

here's what you do...

install SeleQ on your phone
browse to the file and
click on 'options'
then 'file'
then 'properties'
go to the 'attribute' tab on the 'properties' [press right twice]
Make sure
'ReadOnly' option is set to Off [this is important]
'Hidden' option is set to Off
'Archive' option is set to Off
'System' option is set to Off

now after that.. press back and delete the file!

well basically it resets ur phone completely

*#7370# formats ur fone, and everything on c is reset to orig settings, contacts, games all gone. are u sure u wanna format, if u do, rem to back it up.
