Hi Dudes,

I have a problem with my 6600
i am using my MMC memory to save the messages.
now when someone sent a message to me , it does not sound and does not show "you have 1 message" secreen. it does not even vibrate.

when i choose my phone memory , everything goes normally.
i checked my mmc via fexplorer and saw directory "e" in my mail database, nor i can view it or delete this directory.

days ago i had installed a midi via bluetooth and i was not able to delete it from messages area, then i went in the system folder with my fexplorer and deleted all files which was about mail (even deleted system files) but the folder "e" could not be deleted.

fexplorer says "it is in use so cant delete it"

do you know any way to solve this problem other than formatting my mmc ?

thanks

hey dude it is not that "e"

it is " E:\System\Mail\00001001_S\e\

the "e" in the last place can not be deleted.

and i have 1 more problem
when someone calls me, i dont see the warning secreen that was saying "you've 1 missed call" in the main screen of the phone

what the hell :((

I would think your phone is broke if your not seeing warnings.

How old is it? I would be taking it back to the shop and get a new one if i was you.

i dont think it is a phone problem
it is 12 days old and now i switched my "message" storage to "phone memory"
now everything works fine. when message comes , it sounds , vibrates + shows the message warning text in the main screen and + when someone calls it shows the "missing call" secreen too.

i am sure it is MMC's problem, because earlier days i uploaded a midi file to my phone, when i tried to open it something happened and phone get frozen. i was using mmc memory while that happens. and after that , a directory called "e" placed in the E:\System\Mail\00001001_S\e\ and i am not allowed to delete it. To weird but correct.

:(

Oh well at least it isn't the phone then 8-)

That's always a good thing to know. Try formatting the MMC like you posted in your other thread. Your contacts won't be formatted.
