Come off it, you're not even trying...
You're just lazy...

In the forum menu, the first forum page with all the topics, near the bottom you will find 'Software' and 'Links'

I would recomend Rolis 4.77 and Jordik 3.03 (both programs so that you can use them with Flasher and F/MBus)

I don't understand how you have 134 posts and still not know any of this... Don't you read the threads at all? Anyway, your site seems to be all about GSM/Nokia flashes n stuff... *ponder*

-Dave

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though :)

Well, you cannot use rolis flasher, because eeprom on 5110 it's not emulated at the end of the flash, like in 3310 for example! Yes, i think ponyprog will do the job, but i think that we can read/write the eeprom using normal mbus routines. If you pay attention to the help menu of noktool 1.8 by rolis, you will see that those commands "Read MCU RAM/Write MCU RAM/Read MCU EEPROM/Write MCU EEPROM" do work, if we use a modified flash. He says that the routines to read eeprom, are on the flash, but they are disabled!

If someone knows where can i get a modified flash, i would be very gratefull! Or a version < 5.22 i think will do!

Hmm... XARiUS...

Odd, I have flashed 3 5110 that belong to my father and 2 others and I am ever so sure I used Rolis... but then I begin to wonder, since you seem to know what you are talking about when you say that Rolis DOESN'T flash EEPROM on 5110 because it isn't emulated at the end, etc...

However I cannot remember ever using any program other then Rolis since it was released after Darklemming...

Nevertheless I could of used kNok Phoenix build 1, which seems rather unlikely. Generally if a certain program doesn't flash/unlock a phone I just move onto the next in list and hardly remember which I used :)

Can you actually confirm what you've said?

Yes, i think i can confirm! 5110 has only 1MB flash file! if you look at the flash file, you find MCU, PPM, but NOT EEPROM section! This means EEPROM isn't on the flash file! You CAN flash a 5110 without need to flash eeprom, it WILL work! I dont know if you need to clear locks (even if they were cleared after) because i dont know if MSID is the same! Another thing, i was already able to read my 5110 EEPROM (at least i think it was my EEPROM), using NokTool 1.8, menu Read / Read MCU EEPROM, and if you look onto a 5110, you will see that it has an eeprom near the flash chip! for mine 5110 its an ATMEL 24C64N!

51xx, 61xx, 3210, etc. have physical eeprom and CAN NOT be read by ANY flasher sw.

However, you may read/write the eeprom content of OLD VERSION of the above mentioned nokia phone through serial using rolis1.8 or old b-phreak's tool.
