Enter Unlock kode in A920

Hi all!
I have an Motorola A920 to unlock. Now getting the code was no big deal however customer is having trouble getting past the "contact service provider" message. What has to be done? Is it enough to type **057* with foreign simcard ,to make the phone ask for kode?
Looking forward to hear from someone who has tried to unlock this phone!

I found that leaving the phone switched on for about 10 -15 mins whilst saying contact service would result in it then asking for the subsidy password.

But that was with a moto c350

Try it you never know?

Turn on the phone with no simcard. Key in **057* into the dialer, then followed by the unlock code.

Switch off phone. Insert the simcard and switch on.

PS. Please can I have an unlock code for my a920?

How did you get the unlock code for the A920 ? I have one on the '3' network in th UK . Can you please help me ?
