ok, now, the most weird thing is happening with my n-gage... everything went just fine with my old 32MB MMC that came with the phone with flo-boarding... but with my new 128MB one (i tried the 256MB at the store and it didn't work) after I listen to MP3 with music player, I can not access some games (there appears no icon for them) until I restart the phone! This happens also sometimes, but not always, when I play SOnicN... the missing apps are chess genius, file explorer (which is most essencial), space impact...
Also, now, when i restart the phone, i go from 7bar battery to 3 LOL...
In music player, can't I forward or rewind a MP3??
Thankx

I had the same problem with my Nokia 6600 just 2 hours ago.
The problem was gone after a few restarts. After installing a program, the icon wasn't listed in the Menu or the Games or Apps file until I restarted.
I don't know how to fix this, because it's back to normal now :-?

to fix after listen to mp3 it doesnt show all the icon for software install on mmc u just have use mmc card reader and set the systerm forder in mmc not to hidden (ubtick the hiden option in folder properties).to all ppl after you format your mmc with n-gage just delete all the folder inside mmc then you wont have this problem

I haven't tried it yet, but I will when I need to!
It seems logical, lucky for me I bought a USB 6 in 1 Card Reader/Writer four days ago on Ebay Australia! lol

My battery can only run within a 24 hour period max. That's why I bought another battery, but I don't think its a Nokia original/genuine one.
Does it matter?

Well, is there a place in Australia or anywhere in the world - where they sell Nokia 6600 BLD-5C Batteries Original/Genuine ... and ships to Brisbane, QLD, Australia?
ADDED: Just saw a web site that sells products in Australia and accepts Direct Deposit. What about this battery?

Don't worry? I have to worry, I bought a very high end phone Nokia 6600 and so did the rest of us! lol
If you don't trust it, I don't trust it. But I would like to know why non-genuine batteries explode in Nokia phones. Has anyone passed Chemistry or something? Please explain!
I am just a Senior High student (Year 11) in Australia!

Well, as far as I'm concerned, I wasn't able to format my MMC on n-gage - i simply get a "App. closed AppArcServerTh read " error. On Windows, the folder system is already non-hidden. And I don't have a MMC writer... But after I cancel this error message, the curious is that I then CAN play the missing games when I've launched music player! Any other definitive way??

Tzeon, thanks for the advice ... and I agree too. But where can I buy a Nokia Genuine BLD-5C Battery? I mean, I can't be bothered going to the local phone shop because all the covers/batteries/cases/keypads are extremely expensive. Do you know any places on the net, who sells the original bld-5c battery and ships to Australia? :-?

Well, after risking my phone's life from any explosions ... i placed the non-genuine battery in.
The size feels the same, the weight feels the same, the details look the same (Li-Ion, 3.7V, 660mAh)
Well, it works ... but i didnt want that battery to hang around any longer.
But I am considering using the Nokia 6600 Clear Case I bought, which turns blue/purple under UV light!
