Is there any way to find out what is the so-called Mastercode for unlocking the phone without using any progs and cables?

Yes I have that old prog but it only works for OLD nokias like 3110 and 8110.

It asks for the provider code for example Vodafone UK 234-15

and the phones IMEI number

What posses in a case, if i add my phone few opportunity for worng mastercode?
e.g.: *#pw+12345678+1#

Afther possible unlocking with eg. rolis?

It doesn't work for me... It gives me a number, but when i try it on my phone it says Code error.

It's like cprafferty said... only for OLD (like from the stoneage) phones... Why you think zillions of flash cables, mbus cables, clips are sold??? this program had been around for years now! Date on my harddrive sais 20-08-2000!!! That's prehistoric in phoneyears :D

i had that program in 1999. it works for 2010, 2110, 1611, 3110, 8110, 5110, 6110 and all previous nokia gsm phones.

those phones don't have 12345 code, that can be calced from imei.
that program is too from stoneage :)

or.. maybe 5110 & 6110 were first 12345 code phones, and sim unlock with mbus..

but i had to calc some times security code for some 2010, 2110, 1611, 3110, 8110 phones which were bought used.
first time i ever needed security code was with my old good 2010, i had to go service and they took my imei and calced security code and wrote it to paper. that was stoneage :D
