Op Logo on 6600

guys, how or where do i get a blank operator logo? i mean a transparent one and not the one with white background.. the op logos are messin up the themes.. HELP!!! :-?

You will need PC Graphics (comes with Nokia PC suite 4.. not with v5.) Find a nokia that doesn't have a color screen - 8310, 8210, 8910 etc. Create a new operator logo and send it to your number.

Please note that the nokia phone you send from should be supported by PC graphics - eg.. phones like 6610 and 7250 will not work with this software)

I've used my wife's 8310 to send blank operator logos to a whole bunch of people, as well as my own 7250 - IT WORKS.

I get what you're saying. The operator logo that is sent is transparent - at least on the 7250. It doesn't interfere with my background/ wallpaper. I haven't had a chance to use the 6600 (though it's on my 'must-have' list) so i'm not sure if it will work o nyour phone , but you can give it a shot anyway ;)

Hi Guys,

This is a problem I am trying to sort and have been having a discussion with others in the AAS forum.
So far it isn't possible, unless you use the standard operator logo's that your provider displays, in my case it's '02-uk'.
This is what I want to have, a clear bordered logo with just the writing visible. So that no matter what theme you have, you don't have to change the oplogo to match.

You will not find this : C:/Apps/phone/oplogo unless you have used something like OpMan, or File Explorer to actually specify a new oplogo.
Even then deleting this folder will only return the phone back to using the operator one.

For now the best thing is to make a new oplogo for each theme you have. My friend Wouwz made a great template to help make them. I don't think he'll mind me posting it here.

I mean there aren't many "complete" themes around the scene, maybe it's a good idea to let people vote for themes here also since the oneat butch's forum is useless...

Yeah I'm still up for it in and around my work commitments etc.
Will be good to see this one your working on now.

I'm of the feeling now that I'm going to try making a small theme to try and get the phone paging quicker. Some of my themes do slow the thing down a bit. Not a problem just annoying eh.

i have deleated the file in c:/system. etc... and i have reboted my 6600
but i still see O2 uk on the phone, how can i have a total blank logo so my themes arnt ruined by ugly operator logos?

its the Apple mac theme. its like OS x and has windows XP icons on the main menu.

i cant attach the file as a friend uploaded the theme to my phone,
dont have any connectivity hardware as of yet to get it from the phone. :(

There is no way u can get the text away without a IR/BT adapter or MMC reader...

Just buy an MMC reader and BT then, things are very cheap these days.

Just unpack your theme then read THIS (http://nokiafree.org/forums/t56048/h/s.html) post.
Send the file to your phone, then use FileXplorer to set it as Logo
