N-gage - Start Up Failed, Contact Retailer

My n gage is messed up and when i start it up it says 'start up failed, please contact retailer'

is there a way that i can fix this problem

example: flashing
entering a code
etc

did u store anything on the phones memory that doesn't belong there or did u move files around with fexplorer for example ? i'd try formating the mmc first, maybe u have a external reader. if that doesn't help, read and do what the fone says: contact your retailer...

start yr phone i safe mode by holding down pencil , go app manager , remove unwantd apps. restart yr HP.

but what do u mean by unwanted apps? as i have more than 100 apps n games inside. thanks in advance

I got that ploblem sometimes too, all I did was reboot the phone again and it's fine :-)

i got d same problem too, but wen i remove the sysiconz i've never encounter d problem anymore. i read it somewer that wen u install sysiconz it sometimes cause the problem but that problem is in ngage only in others cp, sysiconz works fine another thing wen u put zip or rar file without installing zipman you will encounter that problem too.

*IM BACK* (I just traded in my 5th n gage for a QD for free only had to pay 5 bucks...but ya)

i had the same problem wid my first n gage i installed a game i got off line and it restarted then wouldnt turn back on but if your warrentys still good take advantage of it...i have 5 time...:)

how to start my N-GAGE in safe mode....
you mean turn-off phone then holding down pencil till the phone turn on, right?
will it show up anything in screen when the phone startup in safe mode?
like icon or anything etc.....
i need to fix my MMS of my N-gage deck
because my n-gage won't access MMS even send or receive MMS :cry:

1) try clearing logs.

2) check if mmc is loose

3) maybe its a firmware fault, might wan to flash ur phone.

if u have ufs box conect the cables overthere and try to format user area and after that ur problem will be solved so nothing try else

if u donot have then goto nokia service centre or any other good mobile repair shop
