Hi,
I have a strange problem with a Nokia 6210,
it seems that there is a frequency drift (during conversations), and sometimes the network disconnect me.

The only way that I have to investigate the problem is Netmonitor, and I have noticed that, in menu 10 of netmonitor, AFC value is very High, reaching values of 200 and more.

I didn't see values so high in any of my nokia phones.

Has anyone any ideas ?

My version is now 5.27, but I tried also 5.53 and nothing changed.

Is it possible to do something with Wintesla ?

Thank you !

Fede.

use netmonitor 1...to check the sensitivity of ur phone......or short the 1st IF filter....loc at lower right the black one or reheat audio IC

Sensitivity is ok, rx level is similar to another Phone (6150) with same sim/operator in the same place.

I didn't understand the other two things you suggest me to do, sorry, anyway I can tell you that NOT EVERY BTS disconnect the phone during conversations, only some bts, so I think that there is something in the trasmission that is only a little over the parameters allowed for the ms.

Naturally, the same bts that disconnect that phone, but with other phones (and the same SIM), are 100% ok.

Strange problem......
